I noticed that from my south facing kitchen window when I first got up this morning.

Meanwhile, this morning has started off on a bright and sunny note for a change and yet, our frost-free horror show goes on without even as much as a ground frost being recorded on this occasion.😡

As at 8am GMT (08:00 UTC) this morning, the temperature here in Edinburgh was around 4°C which isn't even the least bit cold for this time of year.😡
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Meanwhile in Malaga, cloud and heavy rain over the weekend has cleared. There was over 25mm here and over 80mm in Seville! All desperately needed after a dry winter so far.

Warm air has pushed north and with unbroken sunshine the temperature today soared to 25.5C here close to the city centre. At the port, about 1.5 miles away it was a couple of degrees lower. Then a sea breeze kicked in and the temperature dropped over 4C in an hour. Can't complain though considering it's only mid February 🙂

Amazing to still see some of the locals wearing coats!

Another lovely day up here after ice first thing and snow covered Pentlands. Chilly but bright sun all day. Going cold now, maybe an early frost?

Damp and exceptionally mild, the story of the winter!

Cloudy with only very light wind from the SW (contrary to both GFS and MetO, which have winds gusting to 30!).

11.9C, dew 11.0, the overnight low (6-6) being 9.1.

Yet another dull, wet and miserable day. It is practically impossible to get any winter sunshine in the south these days, presumably because of the much warmer seas. 😧  Out of interest are there any populated countries that have as much cloud as the UK?

Grey cool and misty in the city today with fog down to 100m. The castle, spires and monuments disappearing into that at times. How on earth the media are reporting a almost record valentine's warmth I don't know. We had a Max of 7 C 🤔

Just noticed on my weather station a 99% humidity level, that's the highest I've ever seen. So clammy and damp here at Folkestone after 4.6 mm of rain fell today, 10.4 C under low cloud with a max of 10.6 C and a min of 10.1 C -  a diurnal range of 0.5 C. Couldn't be any more flatter than that.

Another grim, wet day here. The temperature is at it's highest for some time at 9 C.
I think we will hit double figures today despite the rain. Highest so far was 11.5 C on the 2nd.

That's the story of this winter, well for a large portion it seems. Yesterday another of those days with thick hill fog and patchy rain. High humidity.
Surely there will come a time when the excess moisture has been wrung out of the air. I can't remember such a clammy damp winter.

Feels like early April, not the middle of February! It's the high dewpoint doing it, it feels positively balmy outside.

Largely cloudy, not much of a breeze, 13.4, dew 12.0. Last night's low was a faintly ridiculous 11.1, just 8C above normal!

It's like early summer here...

15.6C, dew 12.3C, partly cloudy with the sun beating down.

The high so far is 15.9, and I see London City airport was reporting 18C earlier!

I'm very jealous, could really do with some warmth, I've felt so cold today since getting drenched earlier!

Any chance of a date record? current record for the 15th is 18.2 at Colwyn Bay in 2019.
