Here in Edinburgh, this morning has got off to a fairly bright and sunny start after a little bit of overnight rain.
Meanwhile, the temperature at 9am BST (08:00 UTC) this morning was around 4°C here in Edinburgh.
Yes, the clocks have changed now, and we have now entered into BST (which is short for British Summer Time).
This means that we can now look forward to much lighter nights from now on (not so good though, if the skies are grey and overcast in that latter part of the day) but because each official observation day is still always exactly 24 hours in length, this means that we will now need to wait an hour longer according to the time on our clocks and watches for the start and end of each official observation day, so that will now be at 10am BST instead of 9am GMT (both of those time correspond to 09:00 UTC).
