The reason I've gone for 6.0C is that I just feel that coldies will be disappointed this January.

I think that with the background climate now 8C is easily doable for the month with the right setup . All we really need is for the weather to persist as it has been for the past 3 weeks or so since the cold snap ended, for the whole month .
I wonder if anyone will collate the stats for mid December to mid January period as I suspect that will be close to record breaking mild up there with 1988/89 , 2015/16 and 1974/75.
