Thank you Frank!
My guess is in.  What will November bring?  Nothing would surprise me.

Only a significantly colder than average month would surprise me.

I went for 8.7.

I can't see much of anything that suggests anything other than another well above average month. I could well have even gone too low, the way things are looking.

I've had a similar email for this month's precipitation thread.

When you post anything in the normal way (other than by using the quick mode for that, you will notice that there is a checkbox which allows you to watch that topic and get email notifications for any activity on that particular thread.

However, I haven't known that feature to have actually worked for quite a long time and it may well be that due to some bug in the system, that feature might have somehow kicked in without actually being set.

However, I'm sure that Brian will be looking into that and hopefully, a fix for that to come in the very near future.

Much appreciated Frank great work. 👍

I feel I may have played it safe with my guess but the possibility of a cold spell at the end of November swayed me from going warmer.

Love the chart Dave - thank you!

Is there any chance that you could add the November CET average to it? It's always interesting to see who's gone above and below and by how much.

Currently living at roughly 65m asl North of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Formerly of, Birdlip, highest village in the Cotswolds and snow heaven in winter; Hawkinge in Kent - roof of the South downs and Isles of Scilly, paradise in the UK.

Ahh that’s great. Is it likely that you and Frank could work together to keep this CET comp going?

The 91-20 average is 7.3c, so all but the lowest 3 are above it

Incidentally, I've gone 1.5c above average and still find myself in the lowest half
