If only May could be extended to the 36th or so I would probably do very well:)

I'm sure that there will be the usual month end downward adjustment too.

Looks like we’re on the up now.  Sadly nowhere near enough for my 12.4c guess!  A bit too optimistic and although my glass is always half full, it seems it was overflowing and a little wasteful of my early lead!

Yes Caz - the warm up has come a little late for we high predictors but just in time for the official start of Summer!

Nearly time to make my June prediction

Early indications suggest June could be nearer 15c which is big jump on May which is likely to end up about 10.1c

It would be nice to see a decent CET but I think early indications are often a problem, as they tend to lead us up the wrong path.

My May CET estimate currently stands at 9.60C with three days to go. The end of the month now looking quite a bit warmer than it did a week ago.

Final CET is now estimated to finish above 10C at 10.11C.

Expect a downwards adjustment of about 0.3C from the provisional Hadley this month.

The combined April and May must be the coldest for many a year.

If the 10.1 estimate for May is right I make that the coldest April-May since 1941

2021 wiould be 8.25 and 1941 was 7.90

Amazing, and to my knowledge no long range forecast had a clue.

I thought the mean was 11.2, not 10.2 Art. That would make the anomaly -1.1C not -0.1C.
