Those dreaded easterlies are back and just as I predicted last night, so is that easterly muck which has now come in from off the North Sea during the night. That has once again led to the skies over Edinburgh returning to their more typical colour of grey as this morning has started off on a very soul destroying and depressing note with yet another grey, misty and overcast nothingness that has resulted in nothing in the way of sunshine having been recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 8am this morning.
It is also nowhere near as warm as it was at this time yesterday either. Overnight minimum temperatures were 10.9ºC at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 10ºC at Edinburgh Airport and 11.1ºC at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
Meanwhile, the temperature at 8am this morning was 12.3ºC at Edinburgh Gogarbank, 12ºC at Edinburgh Airport and 11.3ºC at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
