Glad we're looking forward to a complete repolarization of the temperature change over the next week. I expect at least 16.2 by the end of the next week and a slow rise thereafter.

The air has certainly warmed here from late yesterday evening with a muggy night and warmer today but no sunshine. I need it to improve for a 16.8c finish.

So come on then- the site that is famed for opinion- who's going to pop a head above the parapet and prophesise an adjusted (or not) CET?

I reckon mine is still feasible.

I'm surprised it rose almost a full degree between 18th and 19th but has hardly risen since. Maybe that was an adjustment.

Just noticed that myself.Ive a feeling the cet figures quoted are a bit on the low side and maybe we will see an upward adjustment at the end of the month, not too much though!

I'm wondering if the rise from 15.07 on 17th to 16.0 on 18th was a mistake and the days that followed were adjusted down. If anything I'd have expected the biggest rise on the 19th with day temps in the thirties and night temps around twenty.

[edit] looking at the anomalies and the netweather and metcheck figures. I wonder if there's a rogue zero in the Hadley figure?  Should the figure to the 20th be 16.7c?

Got to agree. The recent CET figures make no sense to me at all. But then I am sceptical with regard to the stations used for the CET anyway.

Looking at the anomalies, Caz, I think the zero is an unintended one- 15.07 is actually 15.7 etc.
