A decent night , a clean sheet and  a win .

Much entertainment with the comedians in the crowd, that was well worth the entrance fee.

Not sure what some guys want , England need to play friendlies , never in a million years are they going to play the likes of Argential, Portugal , France etc.

They need to keep playing .

For me Rooney is well over rated , I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. History tells me he will be crap in the World Cup.

Nope - the paper plane strike was far and away the best moment of the night.

That was just above me, the cheers for it were by far the loudest of the night

as long as rooney gets the right sort of pies he will be just fine BigGrin seriously i dont think he is over rated. he has got talent but he seems to be a bit on or off. when he is good he is very good.

FIFA corrupt! Who would have thunk it

When Blatter does eventually step down I can see some major criminal charges sticking to a number of FIFA officials...including Blatter himself. But whilst he remains they seem untouchable.

Disgrace to the world game that we have dodgy crooks in charge of it, but Blatter will get his comeuppance one day I am sure

Interesting line up for this evening. Shame Raheem isn't starting.

Well if he plays Milner as RB, as has been reported, then that is a serious indictment of Johnson.

It was leaked quite clearly to the press.

Presumably on the basis that Rooney didn't show up the other night.

Rooney isn't match fit so needs game time. Think it's a fascinating lineup for me it's pretty close to being as good as the first 11 for the last game.

Defensively whoever we play we are shite and will struggle in Brazil.

Why do we persist in Milner - he's a muppet. The partially blind 67yr old guy who helps out in my greengrocers could do a better job.

A shaky performance defensively yet again in that first half, but OxbowLake Chambermaid looked decent in patches. Still far too much sloppy first touch control by the attacking players. Rooney's goal puts a positive gloss on yet another poor performance by him overall.
