I think this one needs stickied in case it's the only snow we see this winter!

NYC Live webcam - looks like the snow has either been cleared or evaporated!? I doubt it would have melted at -10c

But nothing compared to the 85cm of snow last year.

Been watching this IP camera in Istanbul and it's been amazing to see the build up of snow. Not sure where it is in the city as that makes all the difference. In the current setup apparently hilly areas are having even greater snow depths and especially towards the north side of the city.
Truly amazing scenes in the city.
It's our equivalent to an easterly but they get it pretty much on an annual basis and this year this is not the first occasion. How jealous am I!

It's not snow, but I'm quite impressed at the ice floes travelling down the Danube in Budapest!

This view of Sumburgh airport in Shetland might be worth checking out later in the week.

The Sumburgh Head Lighthouse webcam seems to not be working at the moment, which is a shame.

Cumbria has some webcams in opportune places. Hartside is just under 600metres up

https://www.cumbria.gov.uk/roads-transport/WeatherStations/default.asp

Perth and Kinross also have some webcams but the thumbnail pictures arent the live ones, clicking on them does reveal the latest picture though. The Glenshee one must be about 600metres up.

I really like these webcams in the Swiss Alps for looking at snow - stunning conditions over there at the moment. The Jungfraujoch is at 3466metres so can be good for snow watching in summer too.

We spend a lot of time here in Adelboden, Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. There's an excellent HD live feed from a local hotel looking at the local mountains and Engstligenalp, a huge plateau which lies south of Adelboden at 1900 – 2000 m above sea level.

This one may help any snow starved people.
The webcam is for Jackson Hole in Wyoming. It is a brilliant stream and there are a few others of Jackson Hole on Youtube of similar quality. Sound is available on them and it seems to snow every other day if not every day. I want to move house...

Take a look at the NYC webcam - Times Square - the snow has arrived. Temperature has dropped some 10c in the rain: - Looks like it's a very slushy affair - not surprised given that it was +16c less than a day ago and was +10c until 8pm last night.

Just saw someone throw a snowball at the webcam.

Just shows that even with surface air temperatures of +14 or +15c - which was yesterdays unseasonably warm weather snow can still fall hours later and accumulate even when the ground is wet and has been warm! - Truly remarkable.
