Yes just looking - it's not powdery snow - an increase of 0.5c could turn this snow to sleet/rain mix: it's 34F? Isn't this +1c:https://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/?cam=tsrobo1
Looks dark for 08:15am!?

Looks like it's all turning into a slushy mess. But it's very dark! Armageddon snowstorm. Without the cold.
Lamp post watchers On the Forum Arms is doing well with large flakes and a good covering of everything.
Some people walk in the rain.
Others just get wet.

As the link in the Forum Arms has been taken down, for those who still need their snow fix, it's still snowing in Tromso.

The cam has been off line for a few days, but it's now back up, although the angle has changed slightly.
Checked daily . View not showing much of the mountains in the background. As it was down yesterday I viewed other live cams.
Not strictly snow I know, although there is some snow on the mountains, but a lively morning in Geiranger with P&O cruise ship Azura visiting.

It may be the first day of summer, and it may now be 24 hours of daylight in Lapland, but unusually there is still full snow cover at Ruka ski resort (only about 300m asl) and has been now since the start of their winter.
On top of that, every time I've looked at their webcams today, it has been snowing. The white roofs are from today's snow. The treated roads are wet rather than white as the temperature is hovering around freezing, much like a UK snow event! It wasn't like that though, when I visited in February 2016.

Snowing heavily in Lapland this evening.
Does anyone have a link to the webcam where we use to witness that big snowman in some Town Square?
I can't remember where it was exactly.

All dark in Tromso with vehicle tracks showin in the fallen snow.. Still a link to the web cam on this thread......
Not strictly webcam related but sort of.....
With today's technology and social media, snow events in the UK will be impressive viewing on the live streams many people seem to do now on social media.
View From the Drivers Cab
Some of these from Norway are quite interesting. The first one not live but well worth a watch as are some of the related ones.
You really need to sit in front of a large TV widescreen in the dark with a glass of wine or whatever to really appreciate it. The only soundtrack is the train and various hoots. If you have sound surround you really feel like you are in the drivers cab. No muzak or other distractions which I found great. Interesting to see where the snowline starts at fjord level and gets deeper as the train ascends.

This one is apparently live. Mike from Pompey might like it. Plenty of snow as I see it now. But it will depend where the train is.
No way is that live as it will be dark in Norway now. Deleted
