Excellent, that should mean a nice bearable summer spell then. 😁(Just kidding, I'm sure it'll be the same as usual - i..e several degrees above average, largely sunny and dry. Just make sure if you're booking a hotel that it has aircon! All the major chains will have it, as it's essential if you want a good night's sleep.)
Talking of which, it's just over 30C in here, so time for the portable aircon to go on. 26.6 outside, the max looks like 27.8 - and sunny, of course.

In addition to that, today was also not even the least bit warm for this time of the year with the maximum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank only reaching a very disappointing 16.70°C, and with the botanic gardens in Edinburgh faring not much better than that at 18.16°C.
Currently around 15°C here in Edinburgh.
It seems odd to think it's meant to be in the mid 30s later on, with a westerly! The MetO raw has 34, but they've done their usual trick of ignoring it in the writeup, which only has 32 as a max for the whole of the SE.
Last night was fairly warm though with an overnight minimum temperature of 14.38°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and 14.77°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.
Then you open the door and the heat hits like a brick - looks can be deceptive! 29.7, dew 16.5, and a good 5 hours' warming left to go.
