You really need to holiday in SE England instead!

Partly cloudy with strong sunshine, light WNW'lies, 22.4, dew 16.4 (which is the average max for early July - it'll be much warmer later today).

Not sure if we will get an official 30C today, it seems slightly less hot than forecast.

I'm definitely heading south next year, Suffolk, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire etc.....I'm sick of damp sunless holidays!!

Excellent, that should mean a nice bearable summer spell then. 😁(Just kidding, I'm sure it'll be the same as usual - i..e several degrees above average, largely sunny and dry. Just make sure if you're booking a hotel that it has aircon! All the major chains will have it, as it's essential if you want a good night's sleep.)

Talking of which, it's just over 30C in here, so time for the portable aircon to go on. 26.6 outside, the max looks like 27.8 - and sunny, of course.

Not a good day today for most places away from the south.

Yesterday was nice here with a high of 23°C. Today in contrast was cool grey and damp.

Currently very light rain and 14.9°C.

Full grey here since the heatwave ended. Same drab, low stratus skies that are would be more at home in January, but apart from the odd slab of foggy drizzle passing over, it is mostly dry, so can't complain fully. But it would be nice to see some sunshine to work out and about in and brighten things up a bit. 18.5c and feeling humid.
