1.00 am. DIstant flash of lightning to my S.E. Darren - looked like over your way on the radar. No rain here yet despite showing on the radar. Still 22.8C. Unless we get some heavy downpours could be our first "tropical night" though it felt like it last night!

Yes, there's a band of storms moving through the area, they'll probably be with you now! Plenty of thunder and lightning, and one of those cruel nights where it's too hot to sleep (so you eventually drop off hours later than normal), have a fitful sleep because it's still hot, then you get woken up by storms - in my case an hour before I'd normally get up, so it's not worth trying to sleep. One "zombie day" coming right up!
Only 2.2mm rain from the storms so far, despite the angry-looking radar.
