Everything taken together, here in Lincolnshire are more good things than man could have had the conscience to ask.

Here in Edinburgh, the rain is refusing to fall here as it generally always does but the temperatures are also refusing to rise and we just have constant grey skies here (today is completely sunless so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 3pm BST (14:00 UTC this afternoon) with absolutely nothing happening in terms of any actual weather, and a temperature which is no higher than a measly 15°C (not even the least bit warm for this time of the year) as this so-called "summer" continues to go completely down the toilet pan.☹️

Today's maximum temperature is officially confirmed as just a rather pathetic (for this time of year) 15.20°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and 15.33°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh, making today our coolest day of this so-called "summer" so far.

In addition to that, this evening is still very dull and dismal and as a result, today will also go down as the first completely sunless day of this summer at Edinburgh Gogarbank, something which we wouldn't normally expect to be seeing until the latter part of the summer when the days are shortening once again.

Currently around 15°C here in Edinburgh.
