Can see how snow is so hard to forecast. Just suddenly dropped from 0.9c to 0.1 and full  settling snow again. Decent snow cover a few miles North of here at similar altitude.

Some light wet snow falling here in Frome, temperature has risen to 3c so wont amount to anything before the rain hits.

Interestingly there was some sleety in Torquay earlier as precipitation was heavier around 21:30 and driving back towards Exeter on a380  THERE was light wet snow on top of Haldon hill before becoming all drizzle towards Exeter and then the odd sleety bit in heavier bursts  towards Okehampton 1.9c and now risen to 2.5c. Precipitation is very light anyway and temperatures are probably on the way up now - and yes they are it is now 2.6c - the milder airmass has hit!

Sleet and wet snow currently falling here in NW Edinburgh, though with nothing actually settling here.

Sadly, that didn't last for long as it has all now already turned back to rain with the temperatures refusing to drop, but it was all looking a bit promising for a while on that front.

Looks to be another 2cmish of snow from the front here. Most of it has passed now though some more precipitation is incoming.

0.2c having been 0.0c.most of the night.

Was a patchy affair as per the models.

Snow showers here since 2 am, sometimes quite heavy bursts, but some sleety showers as well.  So nothing’s settled.

Be interesting to see if East Anglia gets a snowfall as the front snows as per some models.

Thawing here now and up to 0.6c

Temp here is 3.3c dp 1.5c so unless there's an undercut or evaporate cooling going on its unlikely.

It started with sleet around 08:15 and an hour later it turned to snow and that's what we've had since. Not settling though. 2.3c and very breezy.

Some sleety snow in the night - didn’t   settle - then rain from 6am - 8.30am here but snow echoes on higher ground areas - just 100ft made all the difference - then - from 8.30 to now - 10.30am sleet turning to snow at times  not settling, but lovely to watch.  Very close to something decent  - big flakes right now and then goes lighter and back to sleet.

Cold rain at this end of course at 4.2 C,, how could just 0.6 mm seem so much wetter (and my gauge is working just fine).

I will remember this Winter as being like Evri, loads of promise but failing to deliver.

We had a briefish period of light sleety snow around 11pm, which turned to drizzle then fizzled out. More rain overnight.

Well this Temu version of winter continues as Sleet fails and the Temp and DP slowly tick down.
