A few snow flakes earlier when it was 0.3c but 0.6c with drizzle now.  Maybe something when the proper precipitation arrives but doubt it will settle.

Snowing moderately now and starting to settle on the grass and checked my thermomater which i did not check since last cold spell shoowing 0.5C now and the coldest temps as the indicator did not drop below 0C since last cold spell.  Not expecting to see snow tonight.  

App was very wrong with today 6C with rain was only 3C the max.

A few flakes of sleet here this evening with the temperature having dropped to 1.5C . That's probably as exciting as it will get here for the rest of this winter!

Looking on the camera, seems there was a temporary covering between 11-2am as the temp dropped to 0.2c, then up to 2.6c this morning with rain. Story of the winter so far.

Had snow here since before 1pm. Had a bit of difficulty on the road coming home on Royd Moor Top, a hill of 1100 ft just less than half a mile up the road from here. Temperature up there 0c or less. we were at around 1c on the car's thermometer. 4th snowfall this year and 5th or 6th of the season.

Just hours of wet snow that didn't stick here. But guess it will be a winter wonderland say in Queensbury and other places above 300m

A light  snow cover here at 0.9 C with odd flakes now and then in a weak Forth Streamer

The East Lothian and Pentland Hills have been plastered overnight

Temperature has dropped just below freezing at Swanston. Here's the situation higher up (300-550m)

Can see how snow is so hard to forecast. Just suddenly dropped from 0.9c to 0.1 and full  settling snow again. Decent snow cover a few miles North of here at similar altitude.
