It's reached 22 C here on a mostly sunny and breezy day. I see that Aberdeenshire has reached 25 C and coastal Fife, 26 C ☀️

Yes, the highest temperatures of the day so far in Edinburgh are 22.2°C at Swanston, 21.9°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank, around 22°C at Edinburgh Airport and 23.1°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

As of yet, today's official maximum temperatures have still to be confirmed but regardless of what those now turn out to be, today is our warmest day of this month so far as a result of those temperatures which I have just quoted.

Generally sunny and warm today, back to the usual stuff. There's been a bit of cloud coming and going, and the dewpoint is rising again. There's been very little wind.

25.6, dew 16.2, the high being 27.4 and the last night's low was a pleasant 12.6.

Calm and sunny. 17.5C.

A cloudy start but quite warm and muggy, up to 17 C at 0730. The overnight minimum was 15 C

Summer default here - calm, sunny, warm and humid. 19.7, dew 16.3, the overnight low being 15.3. Yesterday's high ended as 27.4, another late spurt. 

There has even been a total of 0.4 mm of rain at Edinburgh Gogarbank which suggests that there was probably a shower of rain in the early hours of the morning although there isn't anything on the rain radar maps to suggest that and t's now completely bone dry here.

That said, it's warm and muggy here, and it's already starting to feel a bit stuffy in this little flat which I live in here in NW Edinburgh.

Last night's overnight minimum temperature was 15.2°C.

With that sunshine though, today is already our warmest day of this month so far with the temperature generally at around 22°C here in Edinburgh and even up to around 24°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, I'm now absolutely sweltering in my little flat.

22.9c in my study so sure this will be the low for a days now, the best room in the house is the downstairs lav with brick walls all around it and one small north-facing window at 22.1c, so that's home for the next week lol

Much the same here now. The office will soon be unbearable, can't fit a bed in the downstairs loo, the kitchen ok at about 22C.

I was on the beach before sunrise 14C. The moonset beat the recent much hyped Strawberry Moon by a mile. But no whitebait activity or other fish visible in the flat calm waters.

28°C here at 15.00 hrs. Light, variable wind and some cloud now. Still too warm to mow what's left of our "No Mow May"!

We just about reached 24 C earlier (Swanston) but it's now turned duller as thick high cloud moves in. Must be an old front?

The important thing with that though, is the temperature is actually a couple of degrees higher than what was forecast for here but I will refer you to my last post on the heatwave thread where you will be able to see why that is important.

Up to 31.1c now here, thankfully the DP is slowly reducing, down to 17.6c now.
