If it is, then the much touted "possible June record" won't even be the hottest day of the month!
High res models have snuck back up again for tomorrow - Arpege has 36C.

Looks like 33.1 was indeed the max, so not even the hottest day of the year.
Tomorrow has a 34 on UKV 15Z, but then so did today.
Jersey had its hottest June day on record today 33.4c
Portugal also broke its June record 46.6c in Mora
So is jersey confirmed as the hotspot then? No good, relying on tomorrow's Daily Mail readings as they will probably be wrong like todays.

Quite an even spread of heat yesterday lots of 30s to 32s.
Heathrow 33.1 was the official high. The Met Office posts them here around midnight each day: https://weather.metoffice.gov.uk/observations/weather-extremes
And I just checked the overnight low last night at Heathrow was 22.2C!
Over 28c already in London
Looks like a good chance temps will hit 35c today London or North Kent, in the usual spots. Glad I'm near the south coast.
29.3c here at 10.30am
The low last night was 20.1c.

BBC Weather going for high of 33c in S.E. corner today, so similar heat to yesterday.
Its about 3c hotter than it was for me yesterday, just hit 31c at 10.45am lots of cloudy around though.
10:45am
29C
Dew Point 21C!!
Some clouds about but still generally sunny.
Writtle 31.1c
East Malling 31.2c
Highest so far.
Quite a lot of cloud moving over so don't think 35c will be hit.
Feeling a fair bit cooler here today. Still residual warmth lingering, but not the humidity of yesterday. Cloudy, too.
Think tomorrow will be sunnier but fresher.

Not sure, but believe the max temp for my part of the country, yesterday, was 31c. My WS temp reached the heady heights of 42.5c once in the full sun at 16:00. The living room was kept in darkness all day and managed to get up to 29c but soon dropped after 19:00 to around 26c and has maintained that, it's the indoor temp right now. outside we're already up to 25c but it's not forecast to get much warmer than that, here, today. There's also a gorgeous breeze and we have a 20% chance of rain this afternoon, but we'll see.

32.6c here at the moment, with a breeze and cloud cover, quite remarkable.
Breached the magic number finally this year - currently 30.5C
Dew point still around 20.5C
Intermittent cloud cover.
33.5c in East Malling, so hottest day of the year
Bang on 33c here now. East Malling is only 10 miles from here and we both get Fohn effect from North Downs.
