Yes it looks like the line of convective showers is a little to the north on the South Downs across towards Winchester/Andover up to Bristol.

All so far missing us to the South.

Max so far and current temp of 24.2c so a couple of degrees warmer than forecast.

Something a bit more interesting today, at the moment we've a nice thunderstorm and heavy rain, the latter most welcome as it's parched here. Temperature dropped a bit under the storm and currently 17c, no breeze to speak of so the storm is slow moving.

The haar melted away by 1030 this morning but it's approaching quickly from the NE again now. We reached 18 C at noon but steadily dropping to 14 C currently. Feeling chilly as the gloom descends 😩

At 7.30pm we were down to 10 C, feeling cold!

Many places in the UK were still over 20 C at the same time

Edinburgh's weather can be very challenging temperature wise

I've been down into Whitby today and as soon as you got to the coastal strip you could really feel the cooler air off sea.

Mind it was 2.9C and sea fog here first thing but soon burnt away and reached 17C

Another mild night - and the same conditions as always, clear, calm. 10.7, dew 9.1, which is the overnight low so far. Yesterday's high was a more pleasant 17.9 and yesterday's low was 10.6.

I'm hoping for a bit more of a breeze today, it was another stuffy night indoors!

A clear, sunny start with easterly breeze picking up. 13.5C.

Although not current conditions, yesterday was a surprise when the temp shot up to 25C for a time in the afternoon.

Very breezy yesterday despite temps still reaching mid-20s. As soon as the sun went down yesterday the wind totally dropped, and still flat calm when I woke at 6 this morning. Now that the sun is rising rapidly again, the very brisk breeze is back up and running again. Amazing how it all works.

The past few days has been very sunny and continued dry but that north east wind would not bugger off. In every bike ride between Folkestone and Hythe, it often felt cold and hard work eastbound back home.
Home location: Folkestone Harbour.

The Met Office app is usually good at predicting it ( F. 1 - 2+ early morning coastal wind but flat calm inland in these synoptics) even if it struggles with thundery showers coming across the Channel.

A cooler feeling start to the day - it's overcast and breezy, both of which are remarkable these days! It's still 10.7 (dew 7.9), though, so not exactly cold.

Yesterday's high was 16.9 (same as the day before), and the overnight low was 9.9.

Classic North Sea coast grimness today with strong gusty NNE wind and barely reached 10C.

There's a heavy cloud layer with light drizzle at times.

Not too much better here with cloud. Automated forecasts did and still show sun all day and the Met Office text shows cloud breaking up by dawn. It's going nowhere at the moment.

Automated runs rubbish it’s cold very windy and just 12 degrees in Fulham and total grey cloud cover

How can they get it so wrong? Feels like a March day out there

There was enough sun before the cloud rolled in to push temps up to 19C. But the cloud was supposed to burn back towards the east, and there's no sign of that happening

It's certainly been a great fortnight to visit Ireland as my sister has done. Pretty much wall to wall sunshine every day.

Meanwhile back home I noticed that the Met Office app was showing partly cloudy and 18C today while Samsung Weather app showed mostly cloudy and 15C. Samsung was certainly much closer. It's still overcast and has peaked at 13C so far. Looks like slightly clearer weather is arriving so still a chance of hitting 15C. Meanwhile up to an hour ago the Met Office was still showing current conditions as 17C!

The models really got the cloud wrong today. Even late morning the Met had the cloud burning back close to the east coast by early afternoon but it has stubbornly stayed here in Hampshire all day. Not even a glimpse of sun.

Satellite images show it neatly bisecting the country.
