Experienced a diurnal range of 4 C here at Folkestone, Kent. A min of 9.3 C and max of 13.3 C. Currently 11.1 C at 8.45 pm. 🤣 The sun did eventually break through in mid-afternoon onwards after having been overcast all day.

Brief glimpse of sun about an hour ago as the cloud drifted away to the west . Tomo looks a cracking day but a pretty cold start I'd guess

Hard to believe yesterday's cold greyness sandwiched between 2 perfect blue sky days

Still more like January here with high 10.4C at 2pm.

Windy too from NE of course. Only the briefest break in cloud layer early afternoon.

After some (welcome) cloud yesterday, it's back to the default sunshine today. At least there's still a pleasant breeze from the NE and it's not too warm.

16.6, dew 10.4, the high today being 17.8 and last night's low being 9.8.

Cloudy and breezy from the north this morning - a relatively mild night as a result.

11.1, dew 8.1, the overnight low being 10.6. Yesterday's high was 17.8.

This North Sea cloud clag is being stubborn to clear away, but hopefully the sun should break through very soon going by satellite image. 14.8 C & low 70% H but winds are very light.

Morning cloud from the N Sea clearing by around 1pm sunny clear this pm but temp pegged back at 16 c

Despite the presence of quite a brisk wind from off the North Sea, today's maximum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank still reached 21.2°C and in addition to that, today was also our sunniest day of the year so far with a final total for today of 14.9 hours of sunshine at Edinburgh Gogarbank.

Meanwhile, the temperature here in Edinburgh has dropped back to around 12°C.


The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
