Still steady light snow here -> 0.3c and -0.4c DP. It's only really settling on lawns. cars and roofs at the moment, will need to pep up a fair bit to be more than nice to watch. 

Edit: Just seen it's back for snow for you. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

No proper snow to speak of for about 3 years - thing of the past now perhaps.

I have friends in Basingstoke and they had proper settling snow on Saturday night?

Radar here is showing 2mm/hr precipitation but nothing is reaching the ground other than the odd spot of drizzle. 

The radar returns are not representing reality at all.

3.3, dew 1.0, both falling steadily now.

Temp 0.2c with a -0.4c DP. 

The transition was caused briefly by a spell of heavier precipitation (yellow on the radar). During this period the temperature here in my garden at Folkestone (35m asl) dropped back to 2.3c with a dewpoint 1.1c. It was at this time I was treated to a dozen blobs of sleet in the rain and one errant wet snowflake.

It didn't last. 10 mins later the precipitation eased back to drizzle and since then a very slight recovery in temperature has begun, air 2.4c, dew 1.7c.

Couldn't even manage any sleet, whereas in the last event I did for about 10 minutes. Currently 2.6 C & mid 90% H.

The rain is petering off leaving me with 3.8 mm. Stil, at least my reputation as an amatuer forecaster remains intact. 😎✌ Nonetheless, I'm done with this Autumn, time to look forward to the first bit of Spring warmth.

Of course, in reality I was checking for sleet... none whatsoever, even though it's continuing to chuck it down. 2.6 here as well, with a 1.0 dewpoint (89% RH).
