In our wettest months such as October or December, 100 mm of rain in such a month wouldn't actually be all that far above the 1991-2020 average for that particular month.

Because March is one of our driest months of the year on average though, this has meant that we have now had almost twice our 1991-2020 March average rainfall with the amount of rainfall which we've had during this month so far.

In addition to that,  this spring is clearly going to end up being wetter than average here overall now, unless April and May suddenly end up being exceptionally dry and we would probably need to be getting virtual drought conditions during those two months in order for that to not end up being the case.
