After this morning's band of snow had cleared away to my south, the rest of today was fairly bright with some sunshine at times so in the end, a total of 2.2 hours of sunshine was recorded for today in the end at Edinburgh Gogarbank.
Today's highest temperature at Edinburgh appears to have peaked at 3.3°C. That isn't exactly enough to bring us even close to getting an official ice day, but this should be enough for today to go down as our coldest day of this winter so far.
As at 4pm GMT (16:00 UTC) this afternoon, the temperature here in Edinburgh was around 2°C.
