Another 5.7mm since midnight at my nearest PWS, most of which came down in 20 minutes around breakfast time. Now up to 81mm for the month, making it the wettest month of 2022.

117.4 mm here so far making it also the wettest month this year. On Saturday morning in the space of 4 hours we had more rainfall than the entire month of July.

Yet another below average month here but today's rain has pushed it up to a respectable 34mm. Not reached 200mm for ytd yet though.(192.4mm).  Incredible!

As it stands we’ve had 148.6mm this September that’s more than May,June,July and August combined….. still got a hose pipe ban🙄

The first above average monthly total this year now at 64mm (+2mm!) and wettest month this year by some margin.
February was nearest with 49mm, 6.6mm today
Year total 267mm is still about 200mm down

A wet 12 hours in the Lakes, over 80mm at Honister. 49mm here in Brathay near Ambleside. Usual roads flooded. Got my windows open listening to rushing water off the fells
