Reading managed 7.6 yesterday. No data from chilton since 15th.
I notice that from the 14th July Leeds had some super data for a bunch of days:
8.5
8.7
8.6
8.4
A reminder of how small these islands are, that even that difference latitudinally does make much difference to UV if the conditions are right.
Glad to see the push for more accuracy:

The original '7s are rare' and '8 only occasionally and only in Cornwall' statements aptly archived.
Chilton highlights since 29/7:
7.3 on 10th, 7.2 today.
Update since last post: 3 x 6+ since 15th with highlight 7.2 at Chilton on 18th, really very high for the toy and not really in line with other stations. Lowlights include 2.9 yesterday.
5th consecutive day above 6 at Chilton. I seem to be 'catching the sun' every time I go out at the moment.
Autumn highlights: 6.0 on 6th September certainly one to write home about.
5.0 on 16th Sep.
4.5 on 22 Sep.
4.2 (last 4) 24 Sep.
3.5 6th Oct.
3.0 on 14th.
2.6 on 19th.
Last 2 was 2.2 on 28th October.
Reading seems to be the only station online- whilst it's clear nobody would be likely to get UV damage at this time of the year, I would have thought UV levels could provide insight into other variables. Still- Reading managed 1.5 on 17th, the highest since 18th November.
After serious dullness, a couple of 1.6s then a 1.7 in Reading gave a good feeling (especially Saturday) if not much vitD or afterglow!
And 1.8 today.
1.8 also on 9th but now we are about to seriously get going. For numerical forecasts don't do BBC- go to MetO. 2s forecast now (at last- gosh, it's been a long winter with too many 7+ weeks half terms).
Yes. First 2 of the year here forecast by the MetO at midday Friday.Think I might put the deckchair out.

Reading 2.1 yesterday.
Reading- 3 consecutive days of 2+ (2.2 yesterday).
Amazing hike up- 2.7 yesterday, 2.4 today and MetO forecsating a few 3s in the coming days.
2.6 again Reading. Should be getting 3s real soon based on Feb 2s in past few years- unless there is no O3 issue.
Reading 2.3 yesterday; 5th 2+ in 6 days
First 4 forecast for Saturday in Winchester

4th consecutive 3+ day in Reading; 3.1 today, not quite 3.2 yesterday.
4 has been erratically suggested during this sunny spell by MetO
5th 3+ (just about- fractionally short today) in a row; but some way to go to match 2012: 4.3 on 28th March.
I got a March tan watching Somerset play Surrey in a pre-season game in 2012. By the end of April it was gone, and it never returned that year either!
Highlights since last post (Reading): 26th March 4.0
(5 more 3+ since 22nd).
7th April 4.4
Forecast a 5 locally today but there isn't enough blue between the grey.
