All of the above data is taken from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and is for up until 09:00 UTC (10am BST) on 27 June 2020.
This month's data runs from 09:00 UTC (10am BST) on 1 June 2020
This summer's data runs from 09:00 UTC (10am BST) on 1 June 2020
This year's data runs from 09:00 UTC (9am GMT) on 1 January 2020
LTA = 1981-2010 average for the month, season or year in question at that particular station.
Minimum Requirements to be met between 9:00 UTC (10am BST) today and 09:00 UTC (10am BST) on 1 July 2020, and are based on the 1981-2010 average for the current month, season or year as appropriate.
Since there has now been more official rain days during this month at both of those stations that the 1981-2010 June average for that particular station, this month will now go down as being wetter than average at both of those stations in terms of the number of official rain days, regardless of what happens between now and the end of this month.
In terms of the actual rainfall amounts though, it has been a completely different because all too often during this month, the rain just hasn't been falling here at those critical moments when it has been required for this month to be wetter than average overall in terms of the actual rainfall amounts.
Any rainfall which we are getting, is continuing to produce only very small totals on each occasion and with just three days left to go after today until the end of this month, time is very quickly running out on that.
The outlook is a bit more unsettled during the coming days but despite what the GFS model has recently been predicting for this area in terms of the total amount of rainfall over the coming days, it is difficult to see where those totals are going to come from with the manner in which everything is happening just now.
Because of that, I can't see anything coming out of this just now, other than a slightly drier than average month at both of those stations, in terms of the actual rainfall amounts.
