We’re all a bit quiet in here!  I don’t think the output is giving many clues about temps for the month, or even for the next week!  Probably a case of wait and see!

Today has been odd, with an overnight frost clearing well before daylight and now it’s 11.5c!

A bit of a fall can be expected over the next 5 or 6 days with CET averages of 4 to 5c on most days. By this time next week the CET could be sitting in the low 5's. (based on ECM data)...close to Gez M victory territory.

Stonyhurst looks distinctly cold. Pershore looks chilly at times with only Rothamsted falling into the mild category with any consistency.

An interesting few days ahead. Hopefully the colder air in the north doesn't dig too far south.

After that Steve it's looking mild. No sign at present of weather that is cold enough to keep it in my zone. Of course anything can still happen later in the month but from what we've seen in the models recently, you must be odds on favourite to be the champion this year

Its currently looking that way Gez but for now I remain cautious. We're only 13 days in and a lot can change. Fortunately the usual carrot danglers are 2 weeks away...hopefully that is where they will stay (from my [perspective).

I’m surprised it hasn’t gone down more as it’s been cold here for the past few days with morning frosts and low daytime temps.  The CET areas are obviously milder!

I know that they are currently in their summer just now, but that is hot even for there.
