That reminds me of the 'Dennis Pennis' joke when he confronted Pie.rs Brosnan with a mike at the premiere of Brosnan's latest Bond film.

Pennis : 'Pie.rs, just seen the latest Bond film. I must say, I was glued to my seat."

Brosnan: "Really?"

Pennis: "Yes. Otherwise I'd have left"

Silly season starts early with Spurs supposedly readying a £20m bid for Lallana. I despair, I truly do, if this story has any legs on it.

On the other hand, I'd be more than interested if we invoked Kante's reported £20m release clause.

Liverpool wouldn't let him go for anything close to £20m; he's become a really important player for us. And I doubt he'd move to Spurs; it's a sideways move at best.

Out of Leicester's 3 key players this season, I think Kante is the least emotionally attached to the club and therefore most likely to move. But there are bigger clubs than Spurs who'd be interested.

He's also the only player from Lester I'd go for. For PFA player of the year he'd have been my choice - not Mahrez or Vardy.

He was the player who made Lester tick over and had a brilliant season.

If United had shown up a couple of hours earlier the bus wouldn't have gotten in the way of the rocks and bottles.

LOL, pity that the article doesn't back up the soundbite.

Back to real news and your lot were very lucky to steal a point tonight.

Didn't see the game (and no MotD! WTF is that about??) but understand most of our team played like they had a bigger game in a week on their minds. Your guys lifted themselves to play us, especially Hazard, who I understand had one of his best games of the season.

Still, that point of yours does pretty much guarantee your team a top-half finish, so well done.

LOL, yes - worst finishing position for at least 15 years. No European football next season. It's been a weird season and not just Chelsea's sub-par performances.

Think we can agree on that!

With Chelsea, the crap start to the season was case (from a non-Chelsea fan perspective) of "fantastic result, but they'll start winning soon". And then the poor results just carried on. Maureen was tantruming all over the place and there seemed a huge rift with some players (has the full story about that woman doctor come out yet?)

Meanwhile, at the other end, everyone was thinking "fantastic result, but they'll start losing soon" about Leicester.

But just as weird was Spurs challenging for the league!
