Got to look on the bright side we didnt lose, my brother went to the rugby on sunday and said the egg chasers absolutely tore the pitch to shreds, he said he doubted they would repair it in time for tonight, still only putting off the inevitable we are relegated club seems to be in turmoil. I thought there were some pretty poor sides in the division this year and quite frankly we are worse, I really enjoy going to games (at home) when I can, the enjoyment is being denied to me which wees me off, still watched arry's boys beat milan which was great Gatuso didnt much like it though

Rumours flying around that Rovers are on the verge of administration, Rich? My 'in the know' mates say it's rubbish though. You heard anything?

lots of 'panic setting in' rumours flying around on boards and forums over the last few weeks, which seem to have been started by some naughty scallies, we are undoubtedly short of cash but who isnt these days. geoff dunfor has moved to quash the rumours in tonights eve po  http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/sport/Talk-administration-Bristol-Rovers-untrue-says-Geoff-Dunford/article-3234849-detail/article.html more alarmingly for Bristol is the likely recommendations due to the negative planning report on the sainsbury's store on your pitch. will this if it transpires to cause a planning application refusal stop the the new stadium deveiopment. perhaps redeveloping ashton gate would be the better option.

This was on the basis of an incorrect news bulletin on Jack FM. The decision will be made on March 2nd. As for redeveloping the gate: impossible for several reasons; it would cost more than to build a new stadium when you take into account lost revenue due to having to close certain sides of the ground over a long period for redevelopment, not to mention the cost of building is astronomical, but the main reason is that it is physically impossible due to height restriction and there literally not being enough room behind the current stands to move backward, which would be necessary to incorporate the bigger stands. Fingers crossed for a speedy conclusion, although I'm sure it will rumble on for some months yet

Norwich are the devil's club. Awful fans, outplayed and yet the smug munchkins escape with a 2-2 draw after an utter hammering.

I hate them, and I hate Holt and that Jocko manager even more.

That is all.

Whenever I think of Norwich fans, which isn't very often, it conjours up a mental image of families sat in the stands, probably with a sandwich picnic for the day and accompanying flask of tea or fruit juice. The kids have cheesy, contented grins on their faces whilst the parents probably have a blanket, or maybe even a shawl across their legs whilst handing out said sandwiches - filling cucumber and cheese. Whilst all this is going on there is a game of football happening in the background. Should Norwich Athletic score a soccer goal it would be met with polite applause and more cheesy grins. After the game they all return quietly home via Starbucks for a coffee treat, before retiring early to bed. Probably with each other.

Having just seen Lansbury's 'celebration' there seriously isn't much nasty that I wouldn't want to happen  to the gimp, in football terms.

I was heading off to the smoking area when he scored it and didn't delay to see it before hand.

A shame one of our players didn't accidentlally knock the arrogant Arsenal bit part's block off.

Bizarre antics on the Port Vale bus.

Meanwhile, the curse of Ridsdale looks like striking again (oldish story I know).

Gannon attracts controversy like poo poo attracts flies. Bizarre set of events. As for Plymouth, my only reservations about the continued demise of this silly little club is that their 10 point deduction gives Bristol Rovers a fighting chance of staying up.... Only kidding, Rich 😁 😝

Barnet got the result I expected them to get today (perhaps not the scoreline), the problem is they're running out of games and their fellow strugglers, Stockport aside, got favourable results as well......I reckon they need a minimum of at least another 14 points to survive and I can't see that happening right now?

My best wishes go out to Barnet. Hopefully, Stockport will go down. I mean who the hell would want to have to play there?

A fantastic night for Bristol City Football Club. The revised planning application for Sainsburys at Ashton Gate has been passed. We will get the new stadium 👍

Good to see one of our boys is regarded as your player of the season (so far).
