A cool autumnal day, fairly frequent showers, very brief sunny spells and a high of 15 C

That isn't exactly the least bit warm for this time of the year, but those maximum temperatures aren't actually any worse than what they were yesterday.
There was some showers around with the odd heavier one, but this produced nowhere near as much in the way of any actual recorded rainfall as yesterday, and didn't even produce enough in the way of any recorded rainfall today which was actually worth reporting on here.
In addition to that, today was also sunnier than yesterday with a total of 5.6 hours of sunshine at Edinburgh Gogarbank, so I would say that it actually wasn't too bad a day here overall. It felt nice to not feel all hot and sweaty for a change whilst I was out and about this morning, and it also didn't rain at any time when I was out and about today.
As I write, it's currently a nice and fresh 11°C here in Edinburgh.
The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
