Today's maximum temperatures in Edinburgh were 18.54°C at Gogarbank, around 18°C at the airport, 19.16°C at the botanic gardens and 18.0°C at Swanston, so no 20+°C maximum in Edinburgh today.
Here in this relative desert which is the Borders though, today's maximum temperature at Charterhall (not a part of that relative desert thanks to recent rainfall) was 20.01°C thus ensuring that there continues to be at least one 20+°C somewhere in these reports. This is exactly what I said would happen in my post on this thread from this morning, despite the forecasts telling us otherwise.
It has been another windy day though with winds at Gogarbank gusting up to around 39 mph from the west.
Currently around 14°C here in Hawick with a much cooler feel than of late despite the continued sunshine.
