Last month was a wet month in most places, but not here in Edinburgh. As we go further into this month as well, more rain is forecast in a number of places. With that in mind, this is the very place to enter those all important rainfall totals for this month in your area.

And SE Water, not so far from here, is maintaining its hosepipe ban! ( its two major reservoirs are  Ardingly at 100% and Arlington was at 84% a week ago; and groundwater at that end of Sussex is also close to "possible impacts")

Add to this Doc & Jerry's comments re E Scotland in the Model Output thread, and then also Reading Uni site, quoted on BBC South this evening as having had 25 days of rain continuously, the longest such period since records began in 1908.

42.8 mm in the Downs here in the first 5 days of February, and no let-up in sight. Groundwater 75.68m asl and the graph still rising vertically - but it'll level off at about 77m when all the dry valleys in the chalk become wet valleys.

46.5mm this month.

Not as bad as some but looks likely another above average month is incoming. 

"Just" 22mm here - with more of a southerly or even SW'ly element, the North Downs are doing a good job of squeezing out much of the rain before it gets here.
