Partly cloudy, with the sun illuminating the garden in a mellow glow. 17.2, dew 13.3, following an overnight low of 16.6. Yesterday's high was a very pleasant 21.4 - perfect weather for walking the pup, mowing the lawn and washing the car!
15.7C clear and sunny
Once again though, it's Groundhog Day here in Edinburgh with the same old dry weather and the same old sunshine to start today, and no doubt the same old warm conditions later on (is this ever going to end?).
This has all become a bit repetitive and boring now.
The forecasts keep on saying that it's going to get a bit cooler in the coming days (though not today obviously) that that has to be taken as a pinch of salt, so I will believe that when I actually see that.
Currently around 13°C here in Edinburgh
Clear and sunny this morning with no sign of North Sea cloud at the moment.

Some cloud edging into Eastern areas now, hope this doesn't move back across.

EDIT:
Alas, we now have a few bits of easterly muck coming in from off the North Sea to cool things down a bit but that will no doubt have burnt back before too long and I would still expect it to warm up later on anyway especially given that it's likely to warmer in the city centre where I'm heading later on, than right here in NW Edinburgh where I'm that bit closer to the Firth of Forth.
Cloud has arrived here after a sunny start. Looking at the Satellite picture very frustrating as almost everywhere else is sunny.
18.9c.
Unbroken sunshine after a partly cloudy interlude perfect summer weather 23 degrees here in Fulham
Gloriously sunny from the word go today and 21.5 C
A NE drift is setting up though and I suspect N. Sea garbage will arrive this evening and last for a few days. Only 16 C expected on Wednesday 😲
Off to the Algarve for 4 weeks on 26th August. The Portuguese Met Service 10 dayer has 33 C forecast for Portimao, my nearest town on that day.
Today, over there, it's 38 C with an Amber heat warning. It's been a hot dry summer in Portugal as it has in much of Europe
Usually when I go for the month of September it's 30 C to start and 25 C by the end......I think this year it will be warmer 🙂
Thi chill has yet to reach here. Bluer sky than yesterday, warm and sunny at 26C
Even 28C in a sheltered town garden
Nigh on perfect summers day, 26.8c, sunny all day, light winds. Pretty much did nothing apart from a couple of walks...
My tropical part of the garden is a sultry 28C. Well not perhaps sultry but very pleasant today.
High of 23.0c , turned sunny again after 2pm.
Clear and 21c now.
Latest Euro satellite shows what is either Iberian wildfire smoke or Sahara dust, or a combo of both, circulating over a large part of western Europe at the moment.

In the end, today's maximum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was 22.8°C which is warmer than yesterday and warmer than what was forecast with a total of 11.7 hours of sunshine being recorded for today in the end which also makes today our sunniest day of this month so far.
However, it has cooled down a bit over the course of this evening with the temperature currently at around 13°C here in Edinburgh which should at least be a lot more comfortable for trying to sleep tonight.
Another very stuffy night here - it's been cloudy and humid.
It's overcast with an ENE'ly breeze, 16.7, dew 15.2, with the overnight low being 16.4. Yesterday's high was a pleasant enough 21.9.
Still very windy down here with gusts into the mid thirties. Cloudy this morning with the tough of showery rain developing to our NE. Temperature at the moment is hovering at 17.8c.
Only 91.2mm of rain down here since May 01st
18.3C cloudy
18.4C. Fresh to strong easterly wind on coast and much less windy easterly inland. Cloudy.
