It certainly is here this afternoon. Very yellowy/milky sun and sky and I think a very orange sunset later.

Warm 26.4C.

Still an hour and a half to sunset but the sky has taken on an eerie dark reddish orange, near twilight look here. Very ominous, but oddly beautiful visage created by that Iberian smoke haze.

Today's maximum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank was 21.9°C with a total of 6.6 hours of sunshine being recorded for today so far at Edinburgh Gogarbank as at 7:40pm BST (18:40 UTC) this evening.

Tomorrow, I will be attending a few events with a friend at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and course, I already know that it's likely to be dry, warm and sunny again for that. The reason for that is because we no longer need to hope for it to be dry, warm and sunny because that is generally how it always is here now. The Met Office are once again going for a temperature of around 21°C which is a little bit warmer than average without being too hot although as a result of me being amongst those massive crowds in the city centre, it's probably still going to feel a bit too hot for me which I'm really not looking forward to.

Currently around 19°C here in Edinburgh

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.
