It did - for a whole year. 12 months of bliss but returned with a vengeance as soon as COVID restrictions on night clubs were lifted in August 2021. However a rough as bag of nails neighbour pub (Gillespie's) didn't survive the Covid restrictions and in the past year I've noticed how things are more subdued, most likely on account of cost of living. I'm surprised that night club is still trading today, but then again it is the last standing "traditional" late night dance venue with no other competition so it pretty much has all the dregs of the town to itself.
Back to about the weather, the rain has finally commenced but thankfully winds has died right down.
