As we have entered into the final month of the meteorological winter, this morning has started off on a cold and frosty note with an official air frost at all three of my local stations, and with an overnight minimum temperature of -1.9°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank but that has taken us into a bright and sunny start to today.

Currently around -1°C here in Edinburgh.

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Having better luck with seeing the sun this morning as cloud start to break up, an improvement on yesterday. But still on the cool side at 5.9 C % mid 80% H with a slight wind chill in an onshore S breeze.
