Temps have topped out at 4-6c, with nighttime mins -1 to +2c last few days

Just looked up Hadley values - 3.1 is the provisional to the 27th Jan.

Only a few days to go - the thing I have had to remember is that the CET is just that the central england temperature - doesn't include stuff below the M4 (perhaps the CET is where the boundary really is and they built the M4 along it by fortuitous accident?) - it also doesn't include cold(er) northern Britain or East Anglia, which have got some media worthy low/mild temperatures. Perhaps we'll get to 3.5 in the end - can I change my prediction now.... ??

Disappointed a simple tag on the website couldn't announce the delay. 

On another note, January was forecast to be above average for temperatures and although it has crept closer it remains below.
