Clear, calm and sunny.  15c and another lovely day forecast. We missed all the thunder storms yesterday but family reported storms 10 miles West.  We’re just on the Eastern side of the Pennines, which tend to act as a barrier.

Here in Edinburgh, we're now back to constant grey skies after a fairly bright start, so normal service for here has been resumed once again.

In addition to that, the temperatures are also refusing to rise and appear to be have been stuck at around 12°C for several hours now.

 

The north of Edinburgh, usually always missing out on snow events which occur not just within the rest of Scotland or the UK, but also within the rest of Edinburgh.

Yes Edinburgh's Haar is back! I've just been up to the top of Blackford Hill (160m) and there's only 100m visibility.

It's cooler now aswell, only 12 C at 11am

Well the haar suddenly cleared at lunchtime and we've had hazy sunshine and 18 C.

I can see that nearer the Forth it's only been 16 C.

I was hoping for cooler weather today, but nope - it's been a fair bit warmer than yesterday, and almost as muggy.

Sunny, as it has been for much of the day (just a bit of odd cloud floating around at times), 18.6, dew 14.5. The high was 20.3.

GFS and MetO both have 15 tomorrow as the high... I'm expecting 17, as they always seem to underestimate here!

Still managed to get the washing dry though outside so all good even without any sun

It is about 20C so a late thundery shower can't be ruled out but today's 'rain band' has been hilariously overblown here with nothing actually recorded, though surfaces in shade got slightly damp a couple of times.

Even when a few spots were observed it was warm and bright.

It's also not even the least bit warm here any more with a temperature of only around 13/14°C here in Edinburgh and just a measly 12°C at Edinburgh Airport.🤢

This morning has started off with thick fog here in Edinburgh as the late spring permacast hell goes on.

Currently around 11°C here in Edinburgh and there has been virtually no diurnal temperature range during the last few days.🤢
