It’s a beautiful sunny day here today with light winds and it feels very pleasant. Not especially mild but nonetheless it feels nice at 7.8°C currently.

Had to run my eldest into Liverpool at 6am this morning. It's extremely rare for me to see 6am, by this one was glorious: a low, wintry sun and sheen of frost everywhere.

By lunchtime the drizzle had moved in 🤮

Here in Edinburgh, it's now clouded over and we're back to those usual grey skies once again after the earlier sunshine.

However, it's still dry for now and it feels quite a lot warmer than of late with the temperature having reached around 11°C where I am.

Currently around 10°C here in Edinburgh as at 4:20pm GMT (16:20 UTC) this afternoon.
