After a fairly cloudy start to the day, today is turning out to be another decent day here in Edinburgh with plenty of decent spring sunshine and a temperature of around 9°C as at 10:40am GMT (10:40 UTC) this morning.

After a bit of a damp and cloudy morning, it is turning out to be a beautiful afternoon with actual proper sunshine heating up my famed west-facing hobby room. 10.3 C & 87% H that are feeling spring-like "warm" in little winds.

Another lovely early spring day today. There was a bit of cloud earlier on, but it has overall been sunnier than it was forecasted to be. 11.4°C this afternoon.

Sadly, this morning's sunshine didn't last all that long here in Edinburgh where this afternoon has been dull and gloomy with the temperatures refusing to rise any further than where they were at around 10am this morning.😡

Unusual mixture this afternoon of stratus on top of the Downs (remnants of last night's low cloud not dispersed) and only a few miles to the north some vigorous cumulus in the sunshine
