Just added up my rainfall for so far this month = 98.6 mm! It'd only take a brief sharp shower later today to bring it to 100 mm. That's slightly more on April's 7.2 mm.

One good thing has come out of this, though, my freshly cut lawn looking lush in the mid-afternoon sunshine today.

Dry here today surprisingly, the showers seem to consume most of Leeds but we were far enough NW to escape.

Looks to be the chance of a few showers over the next couple of days Tim so we should pass the 150. More than made up for the dry April.

I normally post the local rainfall readings from one of my local PWSs that upload data to WeatherUnderground, but all three of my local PWSs have data missing for 10-13 days of May.  As this affects all three of them the fault is most likely with WU rather than the individual PWSs; therefore my record of local rainfall for May, and for the whole of this year, is scuppered.
