I walked up our lane looking at the clear sunset at 4.15pm and the Moon was visible to the southeast. Can't think when I last saw it. It's too much to ask that we get an aurora - but you might spot a meteor trail later in spite of the moonlight. 😁
I may spend a spell in the garden this evening but will have to wrap up a bit as it's very cool outside right now 😎👍
