How come the met office are not talking about accumulations of snow or is it too early? - they mention significant ice build up!?

Do they mean snow or is this dreaded freezing rain!?

I don;t mind it turning milder next week providing we get a decent fall or snow either Thursday. Friday or Saturday!?

But that's a week away remember the forecast by GFS and presenters etc was for a total breakdown in the cold for many southern areas by this Friday!?

I can not see MBY getting more snow today the sun is out and the layer of snow we have right now will melt... the outlook for next week where I am is looking at 10 degree mid next week, by looking at the outlook on tv this morning. any heavy snow we might have will be on Friday but its been more restricted to the south west...

If you want to see a wintry forecast for southern England, check out Dulverton on Exmoor: https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcj6r72hu#?date=2018-03-01

12 hours of 80-90% chance of heavy snow, daytime temp of -4C, gusts of 40+mph and a "feels like" of -11C.

I think it's fair to say the Met don't see this fizzling.
