Barring the second half vs Sunderland, Leicester haven't really played that well. For them it has all been about grinding out results, and to an extent they did that against West Ham. Spurs are steamrolling opponents at the moment, but they still have a few tricky fixtures against teams who still have something to play for, namely Southampton and Newcastle. One of them could be a title decider!

I can see this title race going to the last day now - could it be something like If Newcastle avoid defeat vs Spurs they stay up and hand Leicester the title. If Spurs win vs Newcastle they win the title and send Newcastle down - but a draw for Leicester or only a Leicester win at Chelsea might be enough to win the title

I go back to the Ledley King link I posted earlier. The current Spurs team would have thrashed the Spurs team of Modric, Bale, Van Der Vaart and King himself. King said as much.

For sheer jaw dropping nonsense Van Gaal has truly outdone himself this time. The worrying aspect about this is that even Ed Woodward may finally have concluded the man is demented and will put him out of his misery.

Leicester seem to be putting a lot of effort in to their games with - edging them one nil, riding a bit of luck, and salvaging results like vs West Ham last Sunday - all seems a little bit unconvincing to me

It is unconvincing, but many teams have done it in the past, winning games 1-0 and scraping draws when not playing well. Leicester are playing like champions in this respect. That said, I broadly agree with you. Swansea is a must win game as I too can see Spurs winning their remaining fixtures. Chelsea looks harder on paper than it should be though, given the players are already on their summer holidays going by recent performances.

Chelsea looked as though they were still on last year's summer holidays during the first half of the season, given their performances and results in many games during that time!

The Swansea game on Sunday is crucial; the Newcastle one isn't because I think Spurs will hammer them irrespective of whether the Bar Codes are safe or not.

It would be an extraordinary run of results from Sperms if they didn't drop any more points, almost without parallel, and defy all expectations. Very much a case of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts. Yes, they're playing well, but we've seen millions of times how one under-par performance or bad bounce can mean a defeat or draw. The crunch game for me will be the Chavski game. Under Gus, they've become very hard to beat, and there's certainly no love for Sperms at the Bridge. I think Sperms will collect 9 or 10 more points, meaning Leicester would need 5 or 6.

I just worry that Leicester will implode now and not pick up the couple of wins I think would see them over the line. If they beat Swansea, then I think they'd be home (3 draws would then very likely do it)

Ranieri says it's now or never for Leicester and that's true. I can't see them ever being in contention again. For Sperms, who've assembled a good young team with a very capable manager, they could well be set for a few years of mixing it with the bigger clubs in a fight for the top-4 places.
