Aye, I was very surprised by the snow fields on the Drumochter hills - the picture above was taken some miles north from Cluny last Friday and doesn't really do them justice. They are below 3,000ft in NNW facing gullies.
Mind, you wouldn't like it up there atm - it's very hot and the air is full of clegs

I laid on the beach at Loch Morlich yesterday in clear skies and 28c looking at the snow on the mountains, where else in The UK can you do that.
ps no clegs about yetserday, they appear in the evenings.
