How were we doing for transatlantic data, at midnight last night? ;-)

Just a thought!

Excellent output today.

06Z ensemble looks very decent. The op was one of the milder runs for the majority of the latter stages. Many runs keep it cold throughout.

a few peachy ens members like this

http://modeles7.meteociel.fr/modeles/gens/runs/2016122606/gens-10-1-348.png

but equally plenty of crud ones, certainly more than the previous set so that must be a worry for coldies

06z GEFS..impressive to say the least and starting to get 'that look'.

Justifcation for Retrons ensemble watch soon if this continues ?

A scoot at 180hrs suggests a surprising number of NE'ly options too.

As George Michael..RIP..once said though 'Caution pays'

No chart available for the selected hour. Many charts start at 3 hours ahead, so if you have 0 hours selected try stepping forward or selecting a later hour.

Whether there's a shortfall of input data or not, it can't be often that we get a non-zero snow row in the London ens for the whole of the first 10 days of January.

A belated Merry Christmas to all. Looks like the models have come to their senses during the festive period and are offering some decent eye candy for once - long may it continue. My grandson kept asking during Christmas Day, when it would snow again - the short term looks dry and frosty, but there look to be chances of seeing some of the white stuff as we plunge into January. 😀

It just 14 weeks it will be 4 years since we had laying snow down here. Observable wet snow has only been winessed two or three times in that period too.

Never has a cold and wintry period been so wanted for many of the SE crew.

Tomorrow morning's 0z is a biggy for us.

No more disappointments please.
