Best move from Croatia, but no goal.

Probaly added another couple of million onto Modric's price though

TEAM NEWS

Theo Walcott has been declared fit for England's
make-or-break final Group D match on Tuesday in Donetsk but Ukraine striker
Andriy Shevchenko is a doubt.Walcott, who scored England's second in the 3-2 win over Sweden, suffered some
hamstring trouble in training on Sunday but is now recovered from the strain.

Coach Roy Hodgson declared on Monday: "He [Walcott] is fit, and luckily we
don't have any injury concerns." Shevchenko, 35, is struggling with a left knee problem. He picked up the problem in the 2-1 win over Sweden. ,
though he then played in the 2-0 defeat against France.

Ukraine must win at the Donbass Arena in Donetsk to qualify for the
quarter-finals at the expense of England, while a draw will be enough to see
Hodgson's side through.Shevchenko, who missed training on Sunday, scored both Ukraine's goals
against Sweden.

Sky Sports saying that Walcott will start instead of Milner and Rooney in for Carroll. Positive attacking changes from Hodgson especially bringing Walcott in.

Or have they tinkered with that rule too?

Just back from the 40c + heat of sharm el sheikh where i got the chance to view Englands and a few other games. England have done well to get into a situation where just a point will be enough to qualify. Having said that England have been pretty dire at times even the come back against Sweden hardly raised a semi !!!  I thought Parker was pretty poor against the Swedes and he is a player who we need on form. I am not going to 2nd guess how England will line up tonight, i really have no idea, the back 4 and goalie pick themselves. Gerrard (tho not the player he once was) will start likewise Rooney. Wouldnt be upset if Jones started in midfield tho i doubt it....but the rest of the positions and formation is up for grabs. Ukraine are capable of very neat and quick passing thru midfield to the front men..maybe a case for a strong midfield 3 with 2 wide players supporting Rooney...

Rooney and Welbeck up front for England.

No Schevchenko is a huge blow for Ukraine.

Yep, all Ukraine in the first 20 mins. More composed on the ball, better passers and more cutting. England have offered nothing yet in these early stages. One thing in England's favour is the longer the game goes on with no Ukraine goal, the more they will have to take chances.

Dreadful play by England,  Rooney is of the pace which is not surprising. Milner looks ponderous, the only bright point is Hart and Terry, thank god he's not locked up yet!
