Mostly sunny, already been up to 25.4c although a slight change of wind direction presumably pegged them back by 2c in the last 10-15mins.

This weak front that is passing through our area has pepped up enough to give 1mm of drizzle with misty conditions. Feeling humid with the light winds.

Today's maximum temperature was 17.72°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and just a measly 16.87°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh, so today was cooler than yesterday once again.

Generally, a day which was OK for most of it before going more downhill during this evening in particular with the day ending on a thoroughly wet and miserable note. In fact, I've even had to put the house lights on much earlier than usual this evening due to the very gloomy conditions (I hope that Jerry managed to get back home from the festival in plenty of time before the rain set in, and didn't end up getting soaked out there).

Currently around 15°C here in Edinburgh

Overcast here with some more rain earlier - just 0.2mm, but enough to wet the ground again. Two days in a row with rain, remarkable! 😁

18.1, dew 15.4, the overnight low was 17.4 and the high yesterday was 23.5.

Today should be the last of the very humid days for a while as a cold front is meant to make it across tonight.

Nicosia can so why can’t we do the same here?  If this was 1995 today it would had been thunderstorm last night.

After a cool day yesterday, last night was quite warm with an overnight minimum temperature of 14.72°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and 14.84°C at the botanic gardens in Edinburgh.

Following the clearance of last night's rain, today has started off on a mostly sunny note but with some high cloud still around.

The Met Office are forecasting a maximum of only around 18°C here today although its text forecast which covers a much wider area is going for a maximum of around 19°C. According to the Met Office, there are actually no signs of any more 20+°C maximums here in Edinburgh in the foreseeable future (it's been a long time since that has actually been the case for any length of time) but these days, we usually more often than not still end up getting a 20+°C maximum here anyway whenever the maximum is forecast to be around 18/19°C as was the case a couple of days ago.

Currently around 15°C here in Edinburgh
