Charlwood probably still overreading with 35.2C already.

Plenty of places with readings hotter than UKV at 11am though

Re Charlwood, as I probably live nearest there I just took a look at my garden thermometer on the shady north side of our shed. It's at 38c and is usually a couple of degrees above the real temp as it must pick up some heat fromi nside. The side of the shed doesn't feel excessively hot compared to my hand. It certainly feels like the hottest day of all this year's amazing heatwaves here today. Slight breeze now which I assume is the south coast sea breeze reaching this far inland. Never experienced so many days with a warm breeze before

36.6C now and 44.8C conservatory the highest so far beating the 44.7C during June heatwave.  37.2C was the highest here during early July heatwave will be easily beaten soon.

37.7C now 99.9F and first time to see 45.1c 113.2F since I install the conservatory back in 2024.   The station i have doesn't go below 19% humidity but I am sure it much lower now.

Now hit 100.5 38C so hat off to GFS for predicting it as it show 38C in my area and now 45.5C while house temps 34-35C now but still don't feel hot due to very low humidity.
