28.1C at home at 1500 - so one of the official sites might get to 28 yet.

GFS has much the same here until Friday, except tomorrow where it's 26 (and no doubt warmer inland)... but Friday, a max of 18 and a 10 dewpoint... well, that may well feel fresh! 😁(I'd also say it's odds-on not to max out in the teens, but we'll see).

We got to 28.8c here today, way warmer than expected and with a pretty high DP around 17c or so, it felt hot in the sun when it appeared.

Looks like 29 in the end at Heathrow, despite largely cloudy skies.

I was sitting at home this evening thinking “the heatwave’s over, why do I still feel hot”, then I reminded myself that I still feel hot because it still is hot. 26C indoors and 25C outside currently.

Funny how rarely Heathrow has been the hotspot this summer. Considering its reputation as the climate sceptic’s favourite UHI meme, it’s routinely been beaten by Wisley, Kew, various places on the South Coast and in East Anglia.

Today is the 50th day in a row that has reached 25C somewhere in the UK. That's totally unprecedented as far as I am aware. The longest such run I could find was 40 days in 1995.
